Our mission, vision, values and principles
The Ecole Jeannine Manuel Library offers learning support and resources for students and staff in a welcoming environment. Our bilingual staff of professional teacher-librarians provides expertise in reader’s advisory, reading promotion, bibliographic instruction, and information literacy. The library is committed to providing our students and staff with the best learning resources available, using traditional and new technologies to facilitate learning. The library is proactive in building constructive relationships within the school, with parents and outside organisations, including The American Library in Paris or ELSA France. The library showcases literary talent within our school, overseeing the school’s student press, hosting literary personalities from around the world, and organzing an annual literary festival.
